Inscriptions: Titled beneath image in pencil "Persoonia" On reverse in ink "This tree which grows to the height of between 10 and 20 feet has a rough bark to the Eye touch, and taste and produces a fruit with stone in it, about the size of a sloe of a sweetish Muulagenous taste, which the Natives are fond of, & eat stone and all they give it the name of Mirri burra." Watermark on laid paper "S Lay 1794"
