Descriptive note: On ivory, in gold oval shaped frame with glass front and loop at top for hanging. The reverse holds two locks of dark brown hair, bound with gold thread and seed pearl binding; and a translucent blue enamel reverse with seed pearl border and monogram "WC" in seed pearls; all on an opalescent glass ground over patterned foil with gold thread decoration. Stored in original red straight grained morocco fitted case with cream satin lining, hinge at centre left, and metal hook and eyelet for fastening
