Provenance: inside front cover is a roman numeral trimmed ofl then an extract in a contemporary hand from Augustinus headed Dc operibus monachori (sic): Qui ueniunt ad professionem seruitutis dei. ex cura rusticana et ex opificum exercitatione et plebeyo labore. quo minus operentur excusare non possunt. Nullo enim modo decet ut in ea uia ubi senatores fuerunt (sic) laboriosi ibi fiant opifices otiosi et quo ueniunt relictis diuitiis (sic) suis qui fuerant prediorum domini ibi sint rustici delicati (these are excerpts from the De Opere Monachorum, caps xxii and xxv, cf. Migne PL, Vol.XL, 568 and 573); then in a 16c. hand is the title ÔDe festis sanctorumÕ; i39v. and inside back cover have a few illegible scribbles. It appears that the volume was among those which formed the nucleus of the Seminary Library in the middle of last century[19th]; an inaccurate description of the MS. was given in 1881 and again in 1916
