Origin: names in the Sanctoral suggest southern English or Norman provenance

Provenance: 245r.a-248v.b in a contemporary littera gothica textualis is a list of incipits of Epistles and Gospels for the Proprium de Tempore (Advent to September), for the Proprium Sanctorum (247v.a), and for the Commune Sanctorum (248r.b), breaking off... Residuum quere in fini libri (the remainder are no longer at the end of the volume). In the Sanctoral are the names of Iacobinia, Iulita, Thomas Herefordensis, Albanus, Denis, Michael in monte, Edmundus Rich Cantuariensis, suggesting southern English or Norman provenance; 137r. in a 16c. hand 'Johannes Chippingdale'; 248v. by another 16c. hand 'Johannes Andersoon' (?); 299v. has 'Jhesus Christ' in a 16c. hand; 305r. has a note in Latin commenting on the Day of Judgement in Isaiah; 495v. carries a scribble in a 16c. hand, apparently mentioning the predictions of prophets and ending with the name 'Johannes Tevyonere' (?); 595v. in a 19c. hand 'No.8'; Cr. modern pencil '16/262' and 'repair'; Cv. carries the stock no.'245734'; 1r. has '7' in ink; spine and Dv. have the Library's shelf-mark *091/B47C
