Acquisition: acquired for the library in 1937 from an unknown source by Fr W. P. Hackett SJ.

Binding: old calf over wooden boards (15mm. thick), edges of covers reinforced with strips of iron, brass corner-pieces, centre-piece and five studs in quincunx. Spine calf strengthened by leather bands.
