Acquisition: R. A. Crouch presented the volume in 1944

Binding: 16c. calf over wooden boards with bevelled edges. The covers have three panels (formed by groups of three parallel fillets), the middle one blank, the other two with floral sprays, enclosing a centre rectangle bearing a patriarchal cross, all in blind. On the spine are floral sprays in blind and the gilt lettering S. BONAVEN / REGOLA / DE NOVIZI.


Collation: (10)1-14 (8)15 (12)16 (8)17 (12)18 (8)19 (12)20 (4)21 After the final sheet of the last quire are the remains of five sheets, some of which presumably carried the end of the text. i v., 193v., ii r.-ii v. are blank.


Condition: Edges trimmed; Worm-holes in 1-8, 177-204 without loss of text.

Deco desc: red and orange rubrics; initials alternately blue, with red penwork and red, with blue penwork to 18v., thence orange without penwork.
