Deco desc: red rubrics; small caps alternately blue, with red penwork, red, with blue penwork; illuminated initials (20 x 15mm.) in gold, blue, red, and white tracery on 16v.a (excised), 23r b, 30r.a, 44v.b, 62v.a. On 1r. is an historiated initial depicting the Virgin in prayer, while the borders contain a plain cross and Death with a scythe. There are three miniatures coloured green, blue, purple, red, carmine, flesh tints (no gold) with full borders of leaf sprays, roundels, flowers and precious stones in similar colouring. They depict : 42r. - Pope flanked by two cardinals showing scroll to two monks in brown habit, one with halo (Francis ?), while the border contains vignettes of an old man eating, a skull in profile and a naked girl; 48r. - Marriage of Mary and Joseph; 69v. - Christ bearing the Cross.
