Deco desc: red rubrics; caps alternately blue with red penwork and red with blue penwork, or black ink touched with yellow; illuminated initials (from 340 x 110 to 75 x 75mm.) in gold, pink, green, blue on 1r., 19r., 24r., 30r., 36r., 51v., 57r., 71v., 78r., 93v., 102v., 117r., 124v., 152r., and one historiated (180 x 170mm.) depicting the Nativity (5v.).

Provenance: Br. by a 16c. hand is an index in Latin to the contents headed 'Liber Secundus' ; the volume was once in the possession of A. B. Triggs [Pastoralist and book collector (1868-1936), see Aust.Enc., Vol.IX, p.37] of Yass; inside front cover by modern hand is the legend 'Manuscript Antiphonal Italian MS. of the 15th century' and the label 'A gift to the Library from the friends of the Public Library of South Australia', as well as the shelf-mark Ô096.d.Sp. Symon Library 31.10.1945'; inside back cover in modern pencil 'Don FPL £77.10.0' and 'sroso'.
